Did you know that in addition to our 4th Sunday Food Collection,

we have a a team that tends to our church garden and donates

fresh vegetables to the Canton Food Bank?

Some of you may have noticed that just past the Post Office there are six raised bed garden plots where our garden crew raises veggies every summer to bring over to the Canton Food Bank.

A young lady named Amelia is a high school student living in Simsbury.  This summer, she is organizing a community service project to collect gently used Halloween costumes from families that no longer need them.  All donations will be given directly to Covenant to Care for Children to help local children in need celebrate the holiday.

Amelia is going to drop off a labeled bin where the costumes can be left and an informational poster about her project. Please be on the lookout for her bin and information.
